This meet is a yearly event and a way to end the summer and look forward to the upcoming season, come out and support the teams.

Bring your kids and their friends for a sleepover at River City Gymnastics. We will play games and have lots of fun. Dinner, a snack and breakfast is provided. This fundraiser will benefit all the teams that are going to Baton Rouge in March 2011.
Sign up soon as there is a 50 kid limit.

Booster Club.
River City Gymnastics and Cheerleading Booster club is open to all parents of students registered at River City Gymnastics and Cheerleading. Our purpose is to lend support and assistance to the athletic programs of River City Gym with specific emphasis on those activities and costs associated with the competitive teams.
We urge members to support the gym by assisting with competitions and other team activities. Many people are needed to host a successful competition.

The Spaghetti Feed went very well. We fed lots of hungry customers and added to the parents accounts as well as the general fun. We are working an several other fundraisers to help support the kids.

The Fish Fry was a huge success. We have increased the general fund and now have the money to help pay for our new tumble track. There were a few bumps along the way. The fish was originally going to be fried by Grady's BBQ but due to some mis-communications board member Karen was able to get a coworker to donate his time, burners and oil to get the job done. Thanks Karen.
It took many volunteers that donated time and product to make it the success it was and the booster club thanks each and everyone. Remember this is all for the gymnasts and cheerleaders.
Sandy was very please and urges everyone to get involved. She has announced that this will now become an annual event scheduled every year the first Friday that kicks off the Lenten Season. Only a couple of pictures have been added to the photo gallery because we were consistently busy. The board wants your feed back, please sign our guest book and let us know how we can improve future events. Again Thanks for everyone that helped!

The level 2's, 3's and 4's all competed in The Shamrock Showcase of Stars Meet at Lone Star Athletics in Pleasanton TX. After most of the girls boarded the River City Van at the gym we were off for a nice ride to the country. All the girls did very well and we had lots of River City parents there to support them. Thank You to everyone that was there. The pictures from this meet have been added to the photo gallery.

The RCG Booster Club Sleepover was a great success. We had 30 children signed up for the event and 54 children that actually participated. The kids ate pizza for dinner and a snack of before we had Pillowcase races. The kids had a great time and burned off lots of energy. For breakfast we enjoyed Donuts, Cereal, orange juice and milk. Pictures to be updated soon in the photo gallery. Thanks to all the parents that allowed their kids to participate and to all the parents that helped chaperon.

The AGA girls went on the road to Houston for a meet. All the girls did great. Thanks to all the parent who support their girls and make the sacrifices they do to keep their girls in gymnastics.
